2v2 Continuous

Righties and lefties to their offensive sides of the court with players lined up about 15ft above house. 2 righties start on their side with 2 lefties defending. Ball should start low but can be started by coach pass. Play begins with righties on offence. Play ends when defense gets ball or a shot is made. Once play is complete, righties go to defense on other side against 2 new lefties on offense. Play happens in same manner with lefties on offence until play is dead then lefty offenders go to defense. Can be modified where righties play and extra turn at defense against righties on offense if lefty numbers are low. Focus should be on quick ball movement inside a tight space inside house. Ensure offense stays on their strong side. Ideal if ball starts low or is passed from high to low position. high offender comes down to set pick on low defense and rolls towards net. Ball carrier swings top and looks for pass through defense to find teammate. If pick fails, encourage players to reset

Spoke Drill

Set up six cones in a semi-circle representing top center, top left, and top right areas. Start at the middle cone and rotate clockwise, designating each cone as an offensive player. Defensive players work on breaking down with short, choppy steps, keeping their stick out to take away top side, forcing attackers to the low alley. Focus on recovery to the inside and maintaining positioning. Repeat counterclockwise for full coverage and consistency. Next player goes when player hits second cone.
